Megan Massey - Writer / Filmmaker

Megan Massey graduated from Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts in 2020, where she majored in Film and minored in Creative Writing. She spent the spring of 2019 abroad in Prague, Czech Republic at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) where she spent the semester writing, producing, filming, and creating a 35mm film. She is currently based in Brooklyn, NY, working in production as a Production Coordinator.

While Megan enjoys storytelling through multiple mediums, her favorite is film. A writer through and through, Megan writes scripts, short stories, and poetry. From a young age she was heavily involved in theatre, where her love of story began. In college, Megan created eight short films and worked on a number of sets. Since then, she has worked on multiple television shows and movies in the production office. Her storytelling passion lies in women's stories, focusing on the beautiful and complex relationship women share with each other.
